Time is One's Most Finite Resource

There used to be something very special about a conventional landscape painting. It seemed as though the artist had captured a moment in time forever. This was the period when realism school of art thrived. However, when colour photography became the rage realism became outdated.

Impressionism then came into vogue, followed by expressionism. Then came Abstract art,  Conceptualism followed by sensationalism. Sensationalism in my view is akin to yellow journalism. To superimpose the photograph of a pedophile on Virgin Mary is in my opinion the product of a sick mentality.

However, the importance of art cannot be denied both in terms of beautifying the environment & as a medium of providing social awareness.

It may be considered Naive Art because I have ignored the rules of perspective to paint 3 paintings that show 3 epochs of time, then 7 paintings to show our world through the ages and one painting to show that time waits for none.

This is my attempt to emphasize the importance of valuing time.
