The usage & the benefits of cellular phones is undeniable. However, the adverse effects it has on honey bees is quite shocking. Their numbers

is steadily declining because due to the signals beamed by the GSM towers for the wireless connectivity of the cell phones cause the honey

bees to lose their homing instincts.

How can one help the honey bees ? One suggestion was to breed them in subterranean vaults! but then the price of honey would skyrocket.

Or perhaps make such enclosures where wifi signals would be jammed such as those used in embassies but that could backfire by

providing a safehaven for criminal activities. This is a conundrum which can only be resolved if the governments of developed

countries allocate funds in the R & D sectors. This in the long run may prove to be a precursor to resolving issues caused by further

progress of our future generations.
